Our Story
Oliology was founded in 2013 by Olivia Santos, a biochemist with a vision for clean, natural beauty products that actually work. After struggling with her own skin issues for years, Olivia set out to create skincare that lived up to her own high standards.
She began formulating unique oil blends in her home kitchen, drawing on her science background to perfect the balance of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Olivia quickly saw amazing results from using these oils herself. She knew she was onto something special that could help others achieve healthy, glowing skin.
From humble beginnings, Olivia built Oliology into a leading natural skincare brand. We never wavered from our commitment to ingredient purity and efficacy. To this day, Olivia oversees production of every Oliology formula, obsessing over every detail.

Our Ingredients
Every Oliology formula starts with our proprietary coconut oil, sustainably sourced from the Philippines. Rich in vitamins, minerals and medium-chain triglycerides, coconut oil provides the base for our unique botanical blends.
We carefully select plant oils like jojoba, argan, marula and bacuri for their skin-loving vitamins and fatty acids. These exceptionally high-quality oils are ethically sourced and cold pressed to retain maximum nutrients.
Free of synthetic fragrances and chemicals, our formulas lock in moisture and replenish your skin’s natural oils. The light, quick-absorbing oils leave skin feeling soft and smooth without greasiness. You’ll see improvements in skin texture, tone and radiance over time.
Our Production Process
We take pride in crafting our small-batch skincare by hand in California. Our award-winning lab has top certifications like the Safe Quality Food (SQF) program, organic certification, and FDA registration.
Every batch undergoes rigorous quality testing to ensure purity and potency. Our lab technicians carefully measure out each ingredient according to Olivia’s exact specifications. We never take shortcuts with our ingredients or processes.
Our sustainable production methods minimize water use, waste and carbon emissions. We continually strive to reduce our environmental impact across our entire supply chain.

Oliology Restorative Facial Oil
Our best-selling facial oil blends cold-pressed marula, pomegranate seed, sea buckthorn and pumpkin seed oils. This antioxidant-rich formula revitalizes normal to dry skin overnight. Wake up to smoother, more radiant and evenly toned skin. The lightly scented oil absorbs quickly without leaving an oily residue. Use nightly after cleansing and toning.
Oliology Balancing Facial Serum
This lightweight, fast-absorbing serum comforts and nourishes oily, combination and sensitive skin. Cold-pressed cranberry seed, camellia seed and carrot seed oils tone, balance and calm, while vitamins and antioxidants strengthen the moisture barrier. This unscented serum reduces shine and controls breakouts when used daily and nightly after cleansing.
Oliology Renewing Eye & Face Oil
Brighten and firm the delicate eye area with this blend of rosehip, pomegranate and sea buckthorn oils. Rich in antioxidant vitamins A and C, these oils improve texture and elasticity to reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and face. This nourishing oil is gentle enough for all skin types.
Oliology Youth-Boosting Neck & Décolletage Oil
Target signs of aging on your neck and chest with our luxurious botanical oil blend. Marula, rosehip and kukui nut oils soften crepey skin and even skintone. Antioxidants defend against environmental damage from sun exposure and pollution. This quickly absorbing oil leaves no greasy residue behind so you can apply day or night.
Oliology Protecting Day Serum with SPF 30
Start your day with our lightweight, non-greasy sunscreen serum. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide provide broad spectrum SPF 30 sun protection. A nourishing blend of botanical oils and vitamin E moisturize while fighting free radicals. This unscented serum wears beautifully under makeup as the last step in your morning skincare routine.
Oliology Clarifying Overnight Spot Oil
Banish blemishes overnight with this medicinal oil. Potent antibacterial tea tree, lavender and niaouli oils rapidly reduce and prevent breakouts. Our hero ingredient bakuchiol, a plant compound, works as well as retinol to unclog pores without irritation. Apply sparingly at night directly on blemishes.
Oliology Replenishing Hair & Scalp Oil
Bring your scalp and strands back to health with this treatment oil. Our proprietary hair oil blend with black cumin seed, rosemary and coconut oils moisturizes the scalp, promotes growth and strengthens strands from root to tip. This chemical-free oil boosts volume, shine and manageability when used before shampooing.
Oliology Soothing Body Oil
Pamper your skin with our most luxurious body oil yet. This concentrated blend of coconut, marula, argan and jojoba oils drenches skin with nourishing fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins. Use daily after showering or as a relaxing massage oil to deeply moisturize without clogging pores. The light tropical scent will transport your senses.
Oliology Renewing Body Polish
Buff away dry, dull skin with our gentle coconut sugar scrub. Natural humectants coconut and sugarcane extract prevent moisture loss. Safflower and sunflower seed oils leave skin silky soft and touchably smooth. Use weekly in the shower for vibrant, polished skin from head to toe.
Our Skin Philosophy
At Oliology, we believe skin health is a reflection of overall wellbeing. The foods we eat, how we manage stress, the products we use and our lifestyle all affect the health of our skin. While we can’t change everything, we can control the ingredients that go onto our bodies.
We formulate our products based on the following skin truths:
- Skin craves nutrient-rich plant oils. Essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants nourish skin and help retain moisture.
- Many skincare chemicals cause unnecessary irritation. Harsh synthetics like sulfates, parabens, phthalates and formaldehyde releasers strip and damage skin over time.
- Products should work with skin’s biology, not against it. The skin knows how to heal itself when given the right nutrients.
- A gentle, minimal approach is best. Too many harsh chemicals and products can overwhelm and sensitize skin.
- Ingredient purity and quality matter. Not all oils and botanicals are created equal. Unrefined, cold-pressed oils retain the most nutrients.
- Skin needs protection from environmental stressors. Pollution and UV exposure generate cell-damaging free radicals.
- Skincare should be enjoyable. Natural scents, gorgeous textures and elegant packaging elevate your routine.
Our Commitment to Clean Beauty

- Plant-based, non-GMO, organic ingredients whenever possible. We source the highest quality oils and botanicals.
- Biodegradable formulas. Our products do not persist in the environment or bioaccumulate in nature.
- Recyclable packaging. Our boxes and bottles are 100% recyclable through municipal recycling programs.
- Conscious manufacturing. We strive for sustainability across our entire supply chain.
- No animal testing. We never test on animals or use animal derived ingredients. All our products are Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free.
- Natural fragrances. We use plant-based essential oils or oils with naturally occurring scents. No synthetic fragrances.
Giving Back
We believe beauty can change lives. We launched the Oliology Foundation to amplify our positive social and environmental impact.
Our foundation supports women’s empowerment, sustainability, and education programs related to STEM and entrepreneurship. To date, we have donated over $250,000 to charity partners worldwide.
We also partner with Trees for the Future to plant a tree for every product sold. So far, we have planted over 50,000 trees across sub-Saharan Africa.
